Tough going...
Latest update from Dr John who called at 10.15 am our time.
The team reached C2 successfully yesterday afternoon and stayed overnight.
They left C2 this morning towards C3. The going has been very tough today and very windy. Dr John expects the first members of the team (Tim and Ian) to reach C3 in an hour or so with others 1-2 hours behind.
There’s lots of talking by radio between team members on the mountain and everyone is safe and well. The winds are still expected to drop for tonight and tomorrow and Dr John expects the team to rest for a while at C3 before setting out later this evening (10ish?) heading for the summit in the morning.
I will post news as soon as I get it, but Dr John thought it wouldn’t be until tomorrow morning (UK time) before he calls again with an update. Tibet is 7 hours ahead of us.

Two different lives... as I told before came back from Istanbul this morning and just hang about in the Vondelpark drinking two wines in the afternoon with Jolanda. Back home and looking for more news on your Sunday afternoon.. slightley different. Tonight on the way to the summit, your Birthday !!, its going to be perfect !!! watching over you. Love, Nora.
